This one will not going to be a long post, but somehow I feel like I need to write this down. maybe this one would be better or fit for instagram's post caption. But I guess too long for ig post.

first I'm going to warn you, SPOILER ALERT! so if you don't like it, step back, watch the movie and don't come back here to read this because you already know what's written here. Watch it in the cinemas, recommended. I don't how where to start but let's start with the synopsis

"A former grade school bully sets out to make amends." 

those ten words google used to those who look for "koe no katachi synopsis" but here is the completed one from the IMDB

The story revolves around Nishimiya Shoko, a grade school student who has impaired hearing. She transfers into a new school, where she is bullied by her classmates, especially Ishida Shouya. It gets to the point where she transfers to another school and as a result, Shouya is ostracized and bullied himself, with no friends to speak to and no plans for the future. Years later, he sets himself on a path to redemption. -Ariodito Koestoer

Yes, this is the first time a bully get bullied back by the whole school. Ishida Shouya bullied his  new classmates and who is a deaf girl named Shoko Nishimiya. He did it too far until his teacher got a complain from Nishimiya's mother. He realized that this is not going to be good since his mother will get a problem too, every boy thinks the same I guess. His mother had to ‘repay’ her son mistakes. She had to pay Nishimiya’s mother for every things Ishida broke. Somehow, her ears were bleeding too when she met nishimiya’s mother, maybe it was because Nishimiya’s ear was bleed because of ishida. He regret it. Everything he did. Even the whole school bullied him back because of his action. He started to look down, closing his ear from the world which hated him. He lost everything, even his closest friends.

                Years passed. He was so down until he planned to suicide. His mother was suspicious about why the calendar in his room torn apart after 15th april (as I remembered). His mother said that she would burn the money He used to pay back for the lost when he bullied Nishimiya if He won’t swear to her that He would not commit suicide. At 15th april, he met her, the girl he bullied when he was at elementary school. He met her at the Hand Sign Club where he used to learn. He started to look for redemption for what he did. He was looking for a reason to meet her. He wanted to meet her but that day his bike was stolen while he was protecting someone which became his friend later, Nagatsuka. Soon after he started to think that it is a sign that he shouldn’t meet her, a coupon of fluffy bread was found by him and he realized that it is a sign for him to meet her because she liked to feed to fish on the river with bread. He brought a long-fluffy-bread and tried to meet her at the Club. He was stopped by a boy-like girl, Kuzuru. Kuzuru stopped him because she knew what he did back then. Ishida tried to meet her once more in the Hand Sign Club but Kuzuru stopped him once again until Nagatsuka fought with her which made Nishimiaya saw Ishida. Ishida ran away stupidly, but somehow Nishimiya chased him. In the bridge above the river, they were “talking” but I forgot what they were talking about xD apologize, her “for conversation” book which was thrown to the water when He bullied her. That’s all I remembered. But that book fell in the river and Nishimiya followed by Ishida jump into the river to take it back. Then, the first “see you” hand sign was given by her.

          Later, he met Kuzuru once more and she told him that she is Nishimiya’s little sister. He surprised since they were sleeping on the same room. Then, Kuzuru started helping him, even after her mom told her not to get close to him. Ishida started to look for Sahara, which is Nishimiya’s wish to stay in contact with her. He was going to do it alone but Kuzuru helped him so Nishimiya came with him. They met her, Sahara. Later, Nishimiya said that she like him but her voice was broken. He don’t get it. Stupid Ishida. They tried to keep everyone stay in contact but Ueno hated Nishimiya because Ueno thought Ishida problem was because of Nishimiya. But, I won’t write about their friend too much since I want to keep this post about Nishimiya and Ishida. Later, they started going out together with their friends too. But it doesn’t last long enough, Ueno brought the problem from the past while everyone was there, the condition started to get worse since Ishida add some water to it. Everyone left and Nishimiya started to think that it was because of her. “I hate me, too” said Ishida to himself for everything he did. Everything that happened.

          Later, He was invited to make a cake for Nishimiya and Kuzuru mother who hated him so much, but He did it. He made it and the mother accepted it because Kuzuru told her this is for her birthday. Then, he invited to go to the festival together with them. They were looking at the fireworks until Kuzuru and her mother decided to buy some snacks. Ishida and Nishimiya talked a while until Nishimiya said that She was going home, to study. Kuzuru came back, asked where Nishimiya and answered by Ishida, then She asked him to take her camera in the home. He was taking the camera until He saw someone trying to commit suicide. It was Nishimiya. He ran and made it to catch her hand. While trying to pull her up He said

“God help me to pull one more time

Starting tomorrow.. I will not look down anymore

Starting tomorrow.. I will look to everyone faces

Starting tomorrow.. I will…”

I forgot what he but he promised to live life a little better from tomorrow. He pulled her but He fell to the river. Bleeding. He was in coma for a long time. Nishimiya’s Mother and Kuzuru apologized to his mother for what their sister did. Ueno blamed Nishimiya for everything and had a little fight with her until  Nishimiya’s mother stopped them. Nishimiya started to blame herself and crying in the river she used to be with everyone. She cried loudly and somehow it woke Ishida up and He walked to the bridge and found her. She thought he was a ghost at first. He told her that it wasn’t because of her and there is no need to blame herself.

“I want to help you live”

Ishida said to her after Nishimiya told he something with sign language. It was like a promise since She connect her both little fingers. But somehow it looked like She was the one who helping him to meet and gather his friends back. He did it and He told them that He wanted to go to the festival together. He did what he promised. He stopped to look at the floor and see the faces of people around him. He stopped to close her ears and listens to the people’s voices. He cried. Maybe because he thought he was alive once more. That’s why I said that she was the one who helped him. I always thought that Ishida don’t have power like Naruto or luffy but I realized that he had more than them. He had what everyone’s looking for the rest of their life. That power name is..

Second chance.

Second chance to apologize to her.

Second chance to fix what He broke.

Second chance to rebuild his life.

And, a second chance to meet her.
